Ghost Tuning By TGK is intended for those owners that want a safe, reliable ECU calibration that is specifically suited to match their vehicle's hardware. This approach to tuning is not intended, nor appropriate, for all owners. This is true custom tuning. Not all owners will be accepted for the opportunity to work with Ghost Tuning. What We Aim To Achieve

With the release of DS1 for the Audi 4.0T Platform, it allows essentially anybody with a computer to custom tune your car. Over the years there has been tuners in and out of the community. This causes alot of harm to the platform as a whole. It stops ingenuity and eventually leads to alot of false information being fed to community. Issues that were never issues in the first place being created under false pretenses eventually leads the community to think its a real issue.

We have had countless customers and supporters ask us for tuning services. We want to bring HEALTHY, custom tuning to the market. We WILL NOT be pushing your motor further than the safety parameters of your given aftermarket hardware, for the sake of trying to get the "Fastest Time", our tuning is catered to the fun daily driveability of the car.

Why Application Process?

We want to ensure brand quality goes across all of our products, including tunes. Limiting to the amount of cars we tune / want to tune allows us to cater TIME and RESOURCES, to the customers that have our products, including tunes. We want to ensure that everybody with our tunes are the ones with the most time invested. Taking on too many cars at once will overwhelm the workload, especially trying to cater to people that want things done at the exact given moment.

We never intended to start custom tuning, nor do we NEED to. Our main focus and what has been fun for US, has been Parts development, and thats what our main company focus is catered around.

We worked extremely hard to build the brand image and name for ourselves. We want to ensure our tuning customers are going to keep the upmost respect and quality of our name.

Tuning Correction Policy

If during the tuning process a mechanical issue develops or is discovered, the Owner agrees that the tuning process will be paused and will not resume until repairs are made to correct the issues to the satisfaction of the Tuner.

Tuning Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the Tune, there will not be refunds or warranty claims. By purchasing the Tune, you acknowledge all sales are FINAL and there will be NO REFUNDS once a new Map is sent.

Tuning Waiver

As the Owner, I hereby represent that I have read the Tuning policies and that I have full authority to authorize the testing and tuning of this vehicle and to enter this Waiver/Release.

I am aware that the tuning procedure is intended to and will be to maximize power and performance, therefore, I understand that the vehicle is susceptible to the same risks as on the track which may cause wear and tear or complete damage to, but not limited to, Engine, Powertrain and/or Tire/Wheel Failure or Damage.

Compliance

TGK Motorsport WILL NOT SHUT OFF certain aspects of your tune, that dont come in compliance with the EPA. We are NOT responsible if you are found to have been tampering with compliance related items.

General Maintenance

General Maintenance is a crucial aspect in terms of tuning. If your maintenance is not up to date, TGK Motorsport earns the right to deny tuning. Simple issues can arise from prolonging maintenance. Issues such as bad spark plugs can pose catastrophic problems. Having these done, helps make sure your motors healthy BEFORE any tuning is done.

We have a relationship with numerous shops, having this information is crucial to allowing us to get in contact with a shop if there is ever an issue. Far too often we have noticed some shops will push blame to a tune, when the issue is in fact hardware / installation related. This is ESPECIALLY true, for things such as botched water meth installations, bad LPFP kits.

Not everyone will be disqualified - if our tuning team finds that some changes need to be made to allow us to tune, they will reach out and let you know!

Tuning Legal Policy

You acknowledge that this product is intended for OFF-ROAD USE ONLY. The Customer releases TGK Motorsport from any liability of any nature for damages or other losses, which may be sustained as a result from the tuning process.
